How It Happened
The game was close early on in the opening half. Both teams stayed within a possession of each other over the first eight minutes. However, Roger Williams began to pull away halfway through the period.
With the Hawks holding a one-point lead (15-14), they would use a 16-4 run to take a 13-point lead with just under seven minutes to go in the first half. The Colonels were able to pull within six (25-31), but a 10-2 RWU run over the final 4:20 helped RWU take a 41-27 lead into halftime.
Roger Williams was able to hold on to its double-digit lead throughout the second half. Curry wasn't able to come closer than ten in the second half.
