How It Happened
The Hawks scored right away in the top of the first when
Justin Stone (Blackstone, Mass.) scored on an error. It wasn't until the bottom of the fifth that we heard from NYU when Roggero also scored on an error from Hawk's right fielder to tie the game. However, in the bottom of the sixth, NYU scored four runs from an error, an RBI single, and a 2 RBI double from Tait to give them the 5-1 lead. The Hawks responded adding a run to the scoreboard from an error in the top of the seventh but NYU secured the 6-2 win in the eighth from Tait's RBI single.

Roger Williams (1-2) will head to Lexington, S.C. to start their spring break trip against Lebanon Valley (3-2) at 12:00 p.m.
