How It Happened
Geneva started off strong in the the top of the first when Manuppelli hit a two run homerun to take an early 2-0 lead. RWU came back and tied the game in the bottom of the third on an RBI single and a ground out. In the top of the fifth, Geneva's M. Smith brought teammate Johnson home from a single to center field. The Hawks responded with three runs in the bottom of the fifth on
Francesca Cioffi's (Brewster, N.Y.) two RBI single up the middle and Emma Maclean's (Newton, Mass.) RBI single to right field. With a 5-3 score going into the top of the seventh, the Tornados tied the game. In the bottom of the seventh, RWU loaded the bases with Cioffi up to bat who hit a deep sacrifice fly to center field to bring home
Sydney Provencal (Cumberland, R.I.) and win the game 6-5.

How It Happened
In the top of the first, freshman Isabella Rosado (Central Islip, N.Y.) hit an RBI double to left center followed by
Jax Beaulieu's (Sandwich, Mass.) RBI single up the middle. The Hawks struck again in the top of the fifth from a sacrifice fly, RBI double, and RBI single for a 5-0 lead. Nobody scored for the remainder of the game and Nocella earned herself another win after pitching a complete game only letting up three hits, one walk, and six strikeouts.
