ORLANDO, Fla. — The Roger Williams Women's Tennis team wrapped up its Spring Break trip with a perfect 4-0 record after defeating Colby-Sawyer College 8-1 Wednesday evening.
 
Hawk Highlights
Roger Williams jumped out to a 3-0 lead after taking all three doubles matches. Jessica Magliato (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Taryn Roche (Greenlawn, N.Y.) served up a win at #1 as well as Morgan Crimmins (Boston, Mass.) and Emma Place (Francestown, N.H.) at #2. Shannon DeChiara (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Tanya Gianitsos (Old Saybrook, Conn.) collected RWU third win at #3.
 
RWU would claim five of the six singles matches on the evening, with Colby-Sawyer managing to win at #1 singles. In addition to wins from Place, Magliato, Crimmins, and Gianitsos, Libby Bennett (Watertown, Conn.) won her match at #6 singles.
