How It Happened
Carroll struck early scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning. In the second, they tacked on two from an RBI single and an error. However, Jax Beaulieu (Sandwich, Mass.) threw out Kaylee Learmen (Greenwood, Wis.) at home from center field to prevent another run from scoring. In the bottom of the sixth, Carroll added six more to put the score at 11-0. Nobody had the chance to cross home plate after that and the game ended after the fifth inning. Game 2

How It Happened
The Hawks scored in the bottom of the first inning to take the early 1-0 lead. Catholic quickly tied the game in the second scoring off of an error. RWU added a run off of a first and third situation as Taylor Chatowsky (North Kingstown, R.I.) stole second and Beaupre advanced on the throw. Catholic tied the game 2-2 with a sacrifice fly to left field. Lombardo hit an RBI single to right field to score the winning run.

Roger Williams (1-3) competes against St. Mary's (IN) and John Jay tomorrow at 9:15am and 11:15am.
