Players Corner
"Today's games showed how well our defense can play. Once we string together some hits our team will continue to be on top. Our pitchers showed how well they can do in tough situations, and we will continue the efforts from today into tomorrow. Two really great ball games today that could have gone either way; we won a close one and lost a close one. Timely hitting in Game 1 and a gem in the circle by Lia and Francesca scattering four hits was the difference in the first contest.  Katrina Goria was seeing the ball well and continued her production on offense." - Sydney Provencal

Coaches Corner
"
In Game 2 Taylor Myers pitched a solid five innings. I was hoping we could give her more run support but we just couldn't get our rhythm on offense. Katrina, Sydney and Bay had multiple hits but we stranded 11 in a two-run loss so that was the difference. Looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow at WNE to continue the series with a strong performance." - Joyce Maudie

What's Next
Roger Williams (11-9) and Western New England will see each other again tomorrow at 10:30am and 12:30pm.
