How It Happened
It did not take long for Roger Williams to get on the scoreboard. Four minutes into the opening quarter, Brooklyn Cenatiempo (Trumbull, Conn.) sent a pass across the arc to Morgan Foley (Hanover, Mass.), who converted for RWU's opening score. Four minutes late, it would be Cenatiempo's turn to get in on the scoring action. Ella Waryas (Foxboro, Mass.)
found Cenatiempo on the right side of the circle to put in a goal and give Roger Williams a 2-0 advantage.

The second quarter saw Amelia Monahan (Bristol, N.H.) do all the scoring for Roger Williams in the period. Monahan connected a shot from Hunter Phillips (Schuylerville, N.Y.) halfway into the quarter to extend RWU's lead to three. She would then put in a loose ball into the back of the net four minutes later to send the Hawks into halftime up four.

In the third quarter, Roger Williams tallied their lone goal of the period on a penalty stroke by Phillips. Cate Delaney (Gloucester, Mass.) and Lauren Costanzo (North Andover, Mass.) rounded out the Hawk scoring in the fourth quarter as they each scored once in the frame.

The Hawk defense was once again dominant for the second straight game, as the backfield held Elms to only one shot in the entire game.
