BEVERLY, Mass. — The Roger Williams Women's Tennis team took advantage of a shorthanded Endicott College team to notch a 9-0 victory over the Gulls Saturday afternoon.
 
Hawk Highlights
Endicott only dressed five players of the match, allowing RWU to take two points right off the bat at #3 doubles and #6 singles.
 
Emma Place (Francestown, N.H.) and Alessia Cahoon (Dedham, Mass.) won 8-1 at #1 doubles against Fernanda Trevino and Kaitlin Fitzgibbons while Alexa DiCesare (Norwood, Mass.) and Olivia Santoro (Cheshire, Conn.) set down Ana Mar Molina and Yolanda Mendonca 8-2 at #2 doubles.
 
At singles, Cahoon and Gracie McCarthy (Marion, Mass.) earned respective 6-3, 6-0 wins at #2 and #4 against Fitzgibbons and Molina, while Place took down Trevino 6-0, 6-3 at #1. Santoro did not drop a set at #5, winning 6-0, 6-0 against Brittany Dupuis, while DiCesare battled to a 7-6 (6-3), 6-0 win over Mendonca at #3.
