Jill Reeve Named Next Field Hockey Head Coach

BRISTOL, R.I. - Roger Williams University is pleased to announce the hiring of Jill Reeve as our next field hockey coach.  

"We are honored and excited to have Coach Reeve join our coaching staff. She brings a wealth of collegiate, national and international coaching and playing experience," said Director of Athletics Kiki Jacobs. "We look forward to her leadership as this program heads into its 10th season." 

Reeve comes to Roger Williams University with 17 years of head coaching experience. Most recently, she served 10 years as the head coach at Brown University. Prior to Brown, Reeve served as head coach at Miami University in Oxford, OH. She also has assistant coaching experience at The College of William & Mary, Penn State University and Dartmouth College.  

"I am thrilled to be joining the Roger Williams Athletics Department as the University's next Head Women's Field Hockey Coach," Reeve said. "I appreciate the faith and confidence Athletic Director Kiki Jacobs and the search committee have shown in selecting me for this tremendous opportunity. Roger Williams has a great program, and I am looking forward to building upon the foundation that's been established." 

After graduating from Old Dominion University with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education, Reeve spent 11 years as a member of the USA National Field Hockey team. While on the team, she competed in the 1996 Olympics, three World Cups, the 1995 and 1999 Pan American Games and other international competitions.  

Reeve will officially join RWU on Aug. 1.
