Men’s Soccer: Hawks Fall to Gulls, Offensive Struggles continue

BRISTOL, R.I – The Roger Williams men's soccer team fell to Endicott at home, moving their CNE record to 2-3, and 7-7-1 overall.

Endicott applied the pressure early in this one, as they rattled off seven first half shots against the Hawks. Just one landed on net, but that was all the Gulls needed as it gave them the 1-0 lead just 10 minutes into the game. It was Tiago Frazao who netted his seventh goal of the season, which currently paces the conference. The goal came on a feed from Fisher Mills, which Frazao headed in. Despite multiple attempts for an equalizer, the Gulls were able to keep the Hawks off of the scoreboard in the first half.

The second half was déjà vu of the first half, as Frazao once again scored just ten minutes into the half, helping expand his conference lead in goals scored. This time it was a feed from Sam Cochran, which gave Endicott a 2-0 lead. They would go on to shutout the Hawks, who continue to struggle to generate offense at Bayside Field. In total, the Hawks fired off nine shots on net, five of which landed on goal, but were unable to find the back of the net.

Roger Williams (7-7-1 2-3 CNE) will look to snap their month-long scoreless streak at home this Saturday on Senior Day against Nichols College. Endicott (8-4-2 5-0 CNE) will head back home to take on Western New England on Saturday, Oct. 19.
