Field Hockey: Chelsea King Named to NFHCA Senior Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the recipients of the NFHCA Senior Team Selections, naming Chelsea King (Albany, N.Y.) of the Roger Williams University Field Hockey team with the honor.

This is the first time a RWU Field Hockey student-athlete has been named to the team, as King graduates as the lone 200-point scorer in the 12-year history of the program. King holds the program record with 205 career points, with 84 goals and 37 assists. King also holds the single-season record in those categories.

King is the first RWU student-athlete to earn NFHCA Senior Team honors, after helping guide the Hawks to a 55-27 record since her first game on campus, going 17-6 and graduating after hoisting the team's first-ever conference title in 2024.

Roger Williams finished the season 15-6 and 6-1 within CNE action, reaching their third straight conference title game, falling to Endicott, 2-1, in overtime.
