NORTH ADAMS, M.A. – The Roger Williams University Men's Soccer team dominated Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), 4-0, on Saturday afternoon, at Shewcraft Field.

Roger Williams controlled every phase of the match, outshooting MCLA 20-12, with 14-4 being on goal. The Hawks maintained steady offensive pressure throughout, while both teams played a physical contest that saw Roger Williams rack up 10 fouls and MCLA rack up six, with three yellow cards being issued to the Hawks.

Dylan Robbins (Johnston, R.I) opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a goal off a corner from Will Schiffer (Cotuit, Mass.), his first of the day. Liam Blaisdell (Plymouth, Mass.) doubled the advantage in the 20th minute, also assisted by Schiffer, who finished with two assists on the day. Robbins added his second goal in the 53rd minute, and Patrick Marino (Wyckoff, N.J.) capped off the scoring in the 70th with a goal assisted by Jorge Beltran (Madrid, Spain). Robbins and Marino's goals mark the first of their season.

MCLA goalkeeper Oliver Le Lacheur made 10 saves under constant pressure, while RWU keeper TJ Machowski (Marlborough, Conn.) stopped four shots before being subbed out late in the second half for Josh Bates (Plymouth, Mass.).

MCLA managed a few chances, including late attempts by Marcos Lopez and Jacob Malburg, but struggled to break through the RWU defense. The Trailblazers were held scoreless despite five corner kicks and 12 total shots.
