BRISTOL, R.I. — Roger Williams University Athletics finished 116th across NCAA Division III athletic departments in the final 2025-26 Learfield Directors' Cup standings.
The Hawks accumulated 173.75 points to rank 116th nationally and were one of 233 institutions to score in the prestigious all-sports competition, which measures success across NCAA championship events throughout the academic year. Roger Williams was one of nine Conference of New England institutions to appear in the final standings.
Roger Williams' point total was fueled by national postseason appearances in Men's Tennis, Men's Track and Field, and Women's Track and Field. The Men's Tennis program contributed 50 points after qualifying for the NCAA Championship reaching the Second Round, while the Women's Track and Field team added 32 points, and the Men's Track and Field squad earned 66.75 points through NCAA competition.
The Hawks scored 148.75 points during the spring championship season, while also collecting 25 points during the fall season, with Men's Soccer earning an NCAA Tournament birth
The Learfield Directors' Cup, administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), is widely regarded as the benchmark for overall athletic department excellence. Institutions accumulate points based on their finishes in NCAA championships, with Division III schools counting results from up to 18 sports.
Washington University in St. Louis captured the 2025-26 Division III Directors' Cup title with 1,266.5 points, narrowly edging Tufts University, which finished second with 1,252.5 points.
This is the Hawks highest ranking in the Learfield Director's Cup since the 2013-14 academic year, when they finished 114th.
