BRIGHTON, Mass. - Jonathon Reece Schwartz (Miami, Fla.) finished fifth to lead four Roger Williams University sailors at the NEISA Open Singlehanded Championship, hosted by Boston College.

The Hawks placed all four competitors among the top 12 in the 25-sailor field, competing across 12 races. Schwartz totaled 94 points, followed by Connor McHugh (Annandale, N.J.) in seventh with 115 points. Stewart McCaleb (Long Beach, Calif.) finished 11th with 139 points, while Tristan McDonald (Lake Forest, Ill.) placed 12th with 140.

Schwartz recorded nine top-10 finishes, highlighted by a runner-up performance in the fifth race. He added a fourth-place finish in the eighth race and took fifth in the ninth, 10th and 12th races, finishing just one point out of fourth overall.

McHugh collected seven top-10 finishes, earning his best result with a third-place showing in the third race. He followed with fourth-place finishes in the fifth and seventh races before closing the championship with a sixth-place finish.

McCaleb opened strongly, placing fifth in the first race and second in the next. He added a third-place finish in the fourth race and fourth in the sixth, recording five top-10 results overall.

McDonald delivered RWU's lone race victory, winning the sixth race. That performance came during a stretch of four consecutive top-seven finishes, with fifth in the fifth race, seventh in the seventh and sixth in the eighth. He added a 10th-place finish in the 11th race.
