2009: Tied in second for most games played on the team, having started and played in 42...Third on team for slugging percentage with .517, which was a result of his 48 hits (third on team), 12 doubles (second on team), five home runs (tied for second on team), 21 RBIs, and 30 runs scored (third on team)...Also rounded a total of 75 bases, which had Porter tied for second on the team.
2008: Named Most Outstanding Player for the ECAC Tournament…Played in 37 games for the Hawks with 32 starts, batting .337 with 35 hits…His seven homeruns tied for the team lead during the season…Knocked in 31 RBI with 17 runs scored.
High School: Porter graduated in 2007 from Middleboro High School (Mass.)...Played four years of varsity baseball, starting at third base... Also played two years of varsity golf... Honored for baseball as a Patriot League All Star in both his junior and senior years... Also named to the Taunton Gazette All-Scholastic Team in both 2006 & 2007... An Honor Roll student.
