Biography

2009: Named Captain of the Hawks for the 2009 season… Ranked second on the team in fielding percentage with .992…Ranked second in stolen bases with 12 on the season…Had 24 hits with 14 RI and 19 runs scored.

 

2008: As the primary catcher for the Hawks, Bean started in all 41 games for the Hawks…Bean finished the season with a batting average of .265…Notched 27 hits with three doubles, two triples, and 13 RBIs…Scored 20 runs and stole nine bases without being thrown out.

 

2007: On the softball field, Christine scored 19 runs and had 16 walks…Stole nine bases without getting thrown out…Performed numerous community service activities.

 

2006: Never got caught stealing…Obtained a fielding percent of .971 with 32 putouts…A member of the Future Teachers of America.

 

High School: Graduated from Hampshire Regional High in 2005…Started two-years on both the soccer and basketball teams… Four-year starter on the softball team…Softball awards include All-Western Mass 2005, Best Defensive Player 2005 and All-Western Mass 2nd Team 2004…Four-year Honor Roll…National Honor Society.
