Biography

2010: Played and started in the outfield in 37 games…Finished third on the team in batting average at .310…Finished with 16 runs scored and nine RBI…Also stole three bases…Had a .339 on-base percentage and a .362 slugging percentage…Had three doubles in four at-bats and scored three runs against UMass-Dartmouth on April 1…Received the 2010 RWU Female Sharon Castelli Award…Named to the RWU and TCCC All-Academic Team.


2009: Started all 45 games on the season…Batted .257 with two home runs and 27 RBI…Drew 15 walks on the season, tied for third-best on the team…Stole 11 bases on the year.


2008: Primarily as an outfielder, Grill played in 35 games with 34 starts…Batted .211 with 20 hits and ten RBIs…Scored ten runs with two stolen bases…In the classroom, Grill was able to make Dean’s List.


High School: A 2007 graduate of Shaker High School…Earned three varsity letters in softball, two in basketball, and played a season of tennis…Earned Second Team League All-Star Honors as a shortstop for softball in 2007…Named captain for the 2007 season…Received the Sportsmanship Award for basketball in 2004…Also received the Sportsmanship Award and named team captain for the 2006 tennis season…High Honor Roll student throughout high school…Named treasurer of the National Honor Society…Selected as secretary of her class all four years of high school…Received the Army/Military Sponsored Leadership Award.
