Biography
2014: Honored as ECAC Division III New England Runner of the Week…Came in 2nd at the Commonwealth Coast Conference with a time of 23:55…Notched an individual win, with her time of 19:16.38 at the Western New England University Invitational…Made the 2014 Women’s Cross Country All-CCC Team.
2013: Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year, becoming the first Cross Country All-American with her 25th-place finish (21:52.8)…Finished at the New England Division III Championships (21:10.50) earning All-New England Honors for the second straight year…Won the Commonwealth Coast Conference and earned CCC Runner of the Year honors for the second consecutive year…Four-time CCC Runner of the Week…Two-time ECAC Runner of the Week…Broke the school record in the 5K and 6K…Finished first at 4 major invitational races, setting the course record at each.
2012: Ran in the program’s first-ever NCAA National Championship…Placed 65th overall out of 288 runners with a time of 22:30.60…Qualified for Nationals with a 15th overall finish at the NCAA Division III New England Championship with a time 22:08.23 setting a school record…Also set the 5k school record with a time of 18:36.2 and a 1st Place finish at the Pop Crowell Invite…In four consecutive weeks, she set four school records…Was named CCC Runner and Rookie of the Year by winning the CCC Championship…Five-time CCC Runner of the Week…Named CCC and ECAC Rookie of the Week once…Named to the USTFCCCA Division III All-Academic Team…Finished in the top-10 for every regular season race.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Newington High School…Played on the soccer team all four years, earning two letters…Also played one year and earned one letter on the track team…Received the coaches’ award in soccer in her senior year…Conference champions in the 4x800 meter relay in track…Also broke five school record, named MVP, and earn a berth to the New England Championships in track…Member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society.
Personal: Parents are David and Roberta…Has one brother, Greg…Majoring in Architecture…Was a member of the 2011 RWU Women’s Soccer and Women’s Track & Field team, where she helped both teams win the CCC Championship.
