Roger Williams University Athletics

David Giarrusso joins the Roger Williams University Baseball staff for his first season as Pitching Coach for the Hawks.

Giarrusso is a 2010 graduate of Saint Anselm College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  He holds the program’s career saves record (9) and ranks in fifth in career appearances (51) and sixth in ERA (3.91).

Giarrusso is a former team captain of the baseball team and former chair of the Saint Anselm Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a senior.   Upon graduation, he pitched professionally in Australia as a member of the Mulgrave Rebels.

Giarrusso is a graduate of Cranston East High School, where he was a four-sport athlete in baseball, football, volleyball and track.
