Dan Weidman will begin his ninth season as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Roger Williams University.
Weidman has great familiarity to the program as he was a 3-year member of the Hawks including being named student-assistant coach his senior year. After graduating from RWU in 2012, Weidmann officially joined the staff in 2013. He has served as the program’s recruiting coordinator since the 2013-14 season.
In addition to his duties at Roger Williams, he brings vast coaching experience to the Hawks. He is the director of Synergy Basketball, a youth basketball program focused on skill development through individual and group training and travel basketball teams.
He has directed numerous camps and clinics and serves as the director for the Mike Tully Basketball Camp as well has a skill instructor for the prestigious Elite 75 showcases ran by Zero Gravity Basketball and New England Recruiting Report.
His camp resume includes over three years at the well-respected Hoop Mountain camps, All-American Camp, Providence College, and Baylor University.
