Todd Taravella will be beginning his first year with Roger Williams as an assistant coach of the RWU Men’s Basketball team.
Prior to this position, Taravella coached overseas in Australia, leading the Sydney Comets to win the 2013 Sydney State Championship. In addition, Taravella has coached at an abundance of basketball camps, including Hoop Group, Hoop Mountain, and camps held by Providence College, Syracuse University, St. John’s University and Roger Williams University. Taravella also conducted Level 0 and Level 1 Coaching Clinics for certifications for new coaches. He was the student manager for both the St. Joseph’s Men’s Basketball team as well as the Providence College men’s basketball team.
Taravella studied at St. Joseph’s University for two years, but finished his academic career at Providence College as a 2015 graduate with a degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Italian.
