Judson Morris

    Assistant Coach - Men's Ice Hockey

Judson Morris begins his first season as an assistant coach of the Roger Williams University men's ice hockey team. As an Associate Head Coach, Morris primary responsibility lies in coaching the Hawks’ defensive aspects of the game.  He works with the all-defense man as well as the team’s penalty kill units.

 

Morris most recently spent time as the head hockey coach at the Providence Country Day school, where he improved the team from a 3-14 record in season one to a 9-10-1 record and a playoff berth in his second year. Prior to that, Morris worked with perennial high school power houses Mount Saint Charles Academy of Woonsocket, RI and Bishop Guertin of Nashua, NH.

 

A 2000 graduate of Duquesne University with a BA in History and a MS in Education, Morris played four years for the Dukes, becoming a team captain his junior and senior seasons as well as being a four-time defensive MVP.

 

Morris teaches high school history at Mount Saint Charles Academy and resides in Rumford, RI with his wife, Alanna and young son Connor.
