2009: Earned All-TCCC Honorable Mention for his defensive work on the team...Saw action in 16 games with 13 starts...Caused 11 turnovers and won possession of 41 ground balls.

2008: In Mecozzi’s junior year, he played in 16 games and to go along with 12 starts as a defender.

2007: Saw limited action with a hamstring injury.

2006: Played in 14 games…Had five starts.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Wilton High School…Earned two varsity letters in football and lacrosse and three in hockey…Member of the 2004 Lacrosse State Champion Team…Received the Wilton Sportsmanship Award…Made the Honor Roll every semester (eight times).

Personal: Son of Barbara and Gary Mecozzi...Brother of Lauren.
