2013: Appeared in 14 games, starting 12 of them…Tied for the team-lead in shots on goal with 44…Finished third on team in points (29), goals (18) and fourth in assists (11)…Led team with 79 shots…Also tallied 29 groundballs and caused two turnovers.

2012: Started all 16 games on the year for the Hawks…Named to the All-CCC First Team…Led the Hawks in goals scored with 33 and points scored with 48…Second on the team in assists with 15…Scored six man-up goals, second-best on the team…CCC Player of the Week on April 15…Scored a season-high eight points in the Hawks’ win over Endicott on April 14, their first win over EC in ten years.

Prior to RWU: Transferred from Eastern Connecticut State University.

High School: 2009 Graduate of Concord Carlisle High School…Earned varsity letters in both hockey and lacrosse…In hockey, named as MVP of the league and also served as team captain…In lacrosse, set a new school record for scoring in a single season…Earned All-Conference recognition as well.

Personal: Son of Lynn Nichols and brother to Alex Nessa…Majoring in management with a minor in economics.
