2008-09: Finished 2nd in B Division at the 2008 Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championships at Hobart, just two points shy of winning the division…Named RWU Female Athlete of the Week, for the week of 11/17/2008…Earned second place in B Division at the 2008 Nickerson Trophy at Connecticut College… Took second place in the A Division in Freshman Championships at the Nickerson Trophy…Finished seventh in A Division at the 2009 Boston Dinghy Cup at MIT…Took 13th in B Division at the Reed Trophy/New England Women’s Championship…Took 15th in the B Division with a top finish of 13th at the Navy Spring Women’s Intersectional.

 

High School: Graduated from Tabor Academy…Sailed as a crew for four years…Three-year starter on the field hockey and ice hockey teams…Earned the Braitmeyer Award in Sailing…Member of the championship sailing team from 2003-2007.

 

Personal: Parents are Bruce Epke and Elizabeth Hannon…Has one brother, Julius.
