2011-12: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute: Competed in the 50 Yard Breaststroke finishing 2^nd with a time of 34.63…Competed in the 200 Yard IM finishing 3^rd with a time of 2:33.14…Member of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay finishing 1^st with a time of 1:50.24…The Snowball Invitational: Competed in the 200 Yard IM finishing 3^rd with a time of 3:26.18…Competed in the 200 Yard Breaststroke finishing 3^rd with a time of 2:44.78…Named to the RWU and CCC All-Academic Team.

2009-10: NEISDA: Placed 8th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:45.15, took 5th in the 400 Yard Medley relay with a time of 4:12.77 and also placed 7th in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:21.42.

2008-09: Twice named RWU Female Athlete of the Week...NEISDA Championships: Member of 200-yd Medley relay team that took 4th place…Placed 11th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:11.87…School-record holder in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:11.48), 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:36.09), 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:57.79), and 400 Yard Medley Relay (4:21.89)

High School: Graduated from Torrington High School…Earned four letters on the swim team…Named First Team All-NVL for all four years while notching all-state honors in 2007…Was a member of the YMCA New England Championship Team from 2005 through 2008, as well as the YMCA National Team in 2006 and 2008.

Personal: Daughter of James and Marene Nickerson…Sister to Chickee.
