Andy Lacroix

Andy Lacroix makes the move from the mat to the sidelines in 2007, joining the staff as an Assistant Coach.  The experienced All-American wrestler and fifth-year student will assist the Hawks as he finishes the last year of his Bachelors degree.

Lacroix wrestled for three years in the Roger Williams blue and gold, having transferred from Old Dominion University.  He made an immediate impact on the team, earning All-New England honors in each of his three years.  Competing in the 141 lb. class, Lacroix earned a berth in the NCAA Division III National Championships in both 2006 and 2007.  He earned All-American status in 2006 with a third place finish, and was one win shy of earning the honor again in 2007.  Lacroix also served as a captain for the 2006-07 season.  He finished his career with a 97-20 record, which ranks fifth all-time for wins at RWU.

Lacroix will graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Education in May 2008.
