Roger Williams University Athletics

Dave Armstrong joins the Roger Williams University Wrestling program for his first season as an assistant coach.

Armstrong has extensive experience on the mat, having participated in the sport for 14 years. During that time, he has received numerous honors, including being named a four-time Greco University Nationals All-American, in addition to a U.S. Open Greco-Roman All-American in 2010 and a University World Team Trials All-American.

Armstrong wrestled at the Division I level for five years, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament in 2006. Prior to his collegiate experience, Armstrong was a 2003 NHSCA Nationals All-American and placed fifth at the Ohio State Championships.

Armstong is a 2008 graduate of Cleveland State University and is currently undertaking graduate work at the University of Oklahoma.
