Tim Ferreira is entering his ninth season as a member of the RWU Wrestling staff. During his time with the Hawks, he has coached 21 individuals to the NCAA Tournament including 2016 NCAA Division III 197 lbs. National Champion David Welch.

Ferreira started his coaching career at Bridgewater State University where he spent four seasons, two as an assistant and two as the head coach, with the Bears. During his tenure he helped lead five individuals to the NCAA Championships as well as two NCAA All-Americans.

Before his coaching career started, Ferreira wrestled at Bridgewater State University. He is a two-time Region finalist and his 104 wins ranks in the top 10 in school history. He also wrestled for New England powerhouse Danbury High School where he was a state champion in 2004.
