Colin Fisher will begin his second season for Roger Williams University Swimming & Diving program as an assistant coach.  His primary duty as assistant coach is the design of the Strength & Conditioning program.  In addition, Fisher works closely with the Athletic Training staff to create a comprehensive Swimming Injury Prevention program that strengthens the athletes’ shoulder muscles while also enhancing their core stability.

Along with his coaching duties with RWU, Fisher is also the associate head coach of Kingfish Swimming Rhode Island, a USA Swimming member club.  In the club ranks, he has coached swimmers to Junior National and Sectional Levels, as well as coached multiple RIIL State Champions.

He graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and concentrations in Health Science and Coaching. 

Prior to working at Roger Williams University, Fisher coached the Kendbrin Swim Team and won two championship titles. In addition, he coached the Wilmington Friends top-10 team to a state championship.

In high school, Fisher was an all-state swimmer in the 100 Meter Backstroke and was named team captain.
