Ahead of the 2026-27 season, the hockey programs at Roger Williams University are proud to announce Collin Felton as the first Player Development & Recruiting Coordinator. The full-time position, established fully through philanthropic support, will serve both the men’s and women’s ice hockey programs.

“We are thrilled to be able to add someone of Collin’s caliber to our coaching staff. Collin’s foundation in player development and passion for the game will create countless opportunities for our athletes to improve. His passion for the game and enthusiasm for making our program better were apparent from day one. I am excited to work with Collin on a daily basis as we continue to build a championship-caliber program in Bristol,” Men’s Ice Hockey Head Coach Chris Hall said.

The gift that established the position makes a significant investment in both programs, providing dedicated support for player development and recruiting as Roger Williams ice hockey continues to grow.

“I am incredibly grateful for the support the hockey program has received since its inception here at Roger Williams. A gift to establish a full-time position is transformational for our program and will create opportunities for us to continue to grow. I am humbled beyond measure for the belief and trust placed in me and our program with this gift,” Hall said.

Felton brings experience in player development and coaching to Bristol. He most recently served as a skill development coach and assistant coach at Boston Hockey Academy. He has also worked as a skill development coach with Leonard Hockey and served as captain of Ohio University’s club hockey team. He earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration and sport management from Ohio University in 2025.
