BRISTOL, R.I. - RWU Sophomore Liliana Rutler (Wyckoff, N.J.) has been named TCCC Female Runner of the Week and RWU Female Athlete of the Week after her performance in The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships at Colt State Park this past Saturday.

Rutler dominated the race by finishing the 6-kilometer course in 23:50 to win by 37 seconds over the second place runner. Rutler’s time in this race moves her to 5^th place in the all-time standings for Roger Williams in the 6k. Rutler’s impressive performance also garnered her TCCC Runner of the Year. Her victory helped the Hawks to their 11^th consecutive TCCC Championship.

Roger Williams will be running again on Saturday for the ECAC Championship at Colt State Park at noon.
