BRISTOL, R.I. – RWU sophomore Laura Folsom (Simsbury, Conn.) earned RWU Female Athlete of the Week after her strong diving performance at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships garnered her All New England honors.

Folsom recorded a score of 329.95 Saturday in the one-meter diving competition. The total secured sixth-place in a tight field, with just 23 points separating her from the top three. On Sunday Folsom recorded 336.95 points on the three-meter board to place third overall in New England. 

With the conclusion of the diving portion of the NEISDA Championships, Folsom gives her team momentum heading into the weekend’s swimming portion, held in White River Junction, Vt.
