BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University Baseball sophomore Josh Orosz (Fairfield, Conn.) has been selected as RWU Male Athlete of the Week after his performance for the Hawks this past week.

Orosz started off the week pitching four innings of relief in the Hawks’ 5-2 non-conference win over Suffolk University on Wednesday. He allowed only one run on two hits with one HBP while striking out three batters for RWU.

In his first start of the week on Sunday, the righty tossed his first career complete game shutout in the Hawks’ 8-0 win over TCCC opponent Nichols College. Orosz only gave up four hits in the game with one walk and four strikeouts on the day. With the complete game win, he finished the week with a miniscule 0.82 ERA.

Roger Williams will travel to Wheaton College on Thursday for a 3:30 p.m. game.
