BRISTOL, R.I.- Women's diver Cara Naylor (Windsor, Conn.) has earned the honor of Female Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, as she broke her own school records on both the 1 and 3 meter boards.  Naylor previously earned the honor for the week of October 22.

Diving in an exhibition during the University of New England meet this past Saturday, Naylor posted scores of 222.73 on the 1 meter board and 225. 45 on the 3 meter board.  These numbers bested her own school records set earlier this season, which had stood at 217.28 on the 1 meter and 208.65 on the 3 meter.

Naylor returned a week ago from the swimming and diving team's annual winter training trip to Coral Springs, Florida.  "She worked really hard on the trip and learned a new drive to add to her repetoire" said Hawks Assistant Coach Michelle Kellerman.

The men's and women's swim teams will travel to take on TCCC opponent Gordon college on Wednesday January 30 at 6:00 p.m.  The next event to include diving will take place at the Roger Williams Aquatics Center this Saturday, February 2 at 1:00 p.m.
