BRISTOL, R.I.- Junior netminder, Jen Garside (Londonderry, N.H.), backstopped the RWU women’s soccer team to its fifth shutout victory last week, earning her The Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week and RWU Female Athlete of the Week.

Currently tied for third in the 14-team conference, the Hawks posted a tough 1-0 victory over Gordon College Tuesday, helped by the staunch defense of Garside who posted two saves  in the contest. She currently leads the TCCC in and ranks 11^th nationally with a .917 save percentage. She also ranks nationally with a .500 goals-against average (32^nd).

Garside and the team head to Colby-Sawyer College Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
