BRISTOL, R.I.- The RWU Women's Volleyball team celebrated a 3-0 victory Saturday over visiting Eastern Nazarene College. The team's four seniors all contributed to the win in what was the final regular season home game of their careers.

Senior middle hitter Kristina Dolan (Glenmont, N.Y.) led all the Hawks with nine kills on 11 swings, while senior opposite Laura Scott (Chelmsford, Mass.) posted seven kills on 11 swings. Senior defensive specialist Michelle Beatrice (Medfield, Mass.) tallied six digs on the day and senior setter Caryn Lecca (Ludlow, Mass.) led all players with 22 assists.

RWU rolled to the 25-10 victory in the first set, posting an impressive .363 hitting percentage. Game two finished in the Hawks' favor with the same score, while game three went to RWU, 25-11.

Freshman Kristen Kiefer (Redwood City, Calif.) tied junior libero Jill Hurd (Sunapee, N.H.) for the team lead with four service aces each. Hurd also posted a game-high seven digs.

The Hawks finish the regular season 18-10, while Eastern Nazarene falls to 5-24. RWU advances into the playoffs next week, hosting the quarterfinal match, Tuesday, at 7 p.m. The Hawks will host the University of New England, a team RWU has defeated twice this season.
