Volleyball nets road win over Western New England

Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Women's Volleyball team logged another Commonwealth Coast Conference win with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-17) victory over Western New England University Friday evening.

The Hawks rolled to the straight set win, hitting .207 for the match. Conversely, the Golden Bear offense struggled, as WNE committed 25 hitting errors on the evening while ending the night hitting -.021.

Elizabeth Flaherty (Sloatsburg, N.Y.) led the way for Roger Williams with ten kills on the night. Kristen Boyer (Ephrata, Pa.) and Kristen Neff (Delmar, N.Y.) added seven and six, respectively. Nicole Weber (Poulsbo, Wash.) finished with 28 assists, while Boyer, Victoria Caruso (Yonkers, N.Y.), and Sarah McAniff (Redding, Conn.) each finished with seven digs.

Roger Williams (12-7) will be back in action next Friday at home against Salve Regina.
