Club Men's Lacrosse tallies first win

The Roger Williams University Club Men's Lacrosse team earned its first win of the season, defeating St. Anselm College 10-7.
 
The Hawks played a tight game with the Saints, pulling away with five second-half goals after being tied at five at the half. The game was played in a mild snow storm with snow accumulating on the turf field by the end of the game.
 
Chris Schmidt led the offense with four goals and two assists. Mike Kemmy had two goals and an assist, sophomore Liam Brochu had two assists and won 60% of his face-offs, and sophomores Jeff Demers and Brady Schoner and freshman Zack Morin had one goal each.
 
Defensemen sophomore Matt Kiessling, sophomore Anthony Racicot, and sophomore Matt Broadley all played well. Daimeon Baity made 11 saves in picking up his first collegiate victory in net.
