Box Score Bristol, RI- The Roger Williams University Baseball team was defeated by UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday evening 3-4. The Hawks are now 14-19-1 overall, while UMass Dartmouth improves to 14-17 overall.

Eric Proulx will take the loss for the hawks. Proulx played in 6.2 innings and had seven hits, two runs and five strikeouts. Steve Colella will take the win for the Corsairs. Colella played in 6 innings and had three hits, one run and four strikeouts.

Both teams battled in the first three innings, scoring no runs. In the top of the fourth inning the Corsairs would score their first run of the night. Josh O'niel singled up the middle, RBI and Jack Harrington would score. The Hawks would score their first run in the bottom of the 6
th inning.
Kevin Baker (Wilbraham, Mass.) singled through to left field, RBI to score
Eli Camner (Hamden, Conn.). The Corsairs would score again in the seventh inning by Ryan Ainslie from a single up the middle by Taylor Cacciola. The Corsairs wouldn't stop there as they scored two more runs in the top of the eighth inning by Zach Courier by an error at first base and Erick Ramirez from a passed ball. The Hawks would try and extend the game in the bottom of ninth inning.
Mike Allwein (Newton, Conn.) singled to right field, RBI, to advance
Jamie Timothy (Cohasset, Conn.) to third and Bryan Terizan (Westport, Conn.) would score.
Shane Nowak (Litchfield, N.H.) would single to the catcher, RBI, to advance Allwein to third, Timothy would score the final fun for the Hawks. The Hawks were defeated by the Corsairs 3-4.
