Women’s Volleyball Suffers First Loss Of The Season

Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - MIT opened the first day of the MIT Invitational by sweeping the Roger Williams University Women's Volleyball team, 25-21, 25-18, 25-16, on Friday.

MIT responded with four straight points as junior Abby Bertics (La Jolla, Calif.) accounted for the last two, courtesy of a block and a kill. The hosts gradually established a 21-10 advantage in the final frame en route to a 25-16 victory.
