How It Happened
Just before the first half ended, the Hawks scored a team goal to take the 1-0 lead. With only eight minutes left, WNE's Claflin then shot and scored past goalkeeper Geschickter to tie the game 1-1. After double overtime, none of the teams scored again and the result ended as a tie.
