BRUNSWICK, Maine. – The Roger Williams University Women's Cross Country team placed 23
rd out of 54 teams in the New England Championships on Saturday afternoon.
Hawk Highlights
Sarah Mawdsley (Sandy Hook, Conn.) had her best New England Performance ever, only nine seconds out of an All-NE spot.
Coach Livingston stated, "The Women had a nice improvement from last year. Overall, the ladies may have been a little off what we were hoping for, but they raced hard and the effort was there. They've had a fantastic season and should be very proud both of their individual and team success. We'll definitely miss not having our four seniors back next fall. Sarah and Hannah were a great one two punch most of the year and Lauren and Catherine both had strong seasons each pr'ing in both the 5k and 6k."
