How It Happened
Wentworth came out strong right from the beginning scoring two goals in the first half to earn the lead. However, the Hawks did not give up as Robbins cut the lead in half after dribbling to the left side of the box and taking a shot that swept past the goalkeeper. With a 2-1 score going into the second half, Delli Carpini tapped the ball up to Yucius who struck the top left corner of the net to tie the game. Once in overtime, Carpini pushed the ball out to Snow in the left side of the field who took a shot that hit the post of the goal and bounced in for the 3-2 win.
