BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team earned its fourth straight win with a 96-82 non-conference victory over U.S. Coast Guard Academy Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
The game was a back-and-forth battle early on, with eight ties and seven lead changes in the first ten minutes of play. With 9:38 to play,
Drew Hart knocked down a three that would put RWU on top 28-27. That basket would kick start a 17-2 run for RWU that would put the Hawks up by 13.
Doug Hostetler got off to a hot start, hitting his first five three pointers for the Hawks. In all, the Hawks shot 72.2% from downtown in the first half, connecting on 13 three-pointers in the period.
Noah Baldez helped cut the deficit to single digits, stealing the inbound pass in the closing seconds and putting in a contested layup to make it a 50-58 game entering the break.
In the second half, the Bears managed to make their way back into the game, cutting a 12-point deficit to only four with 10:06 to play (76-80). The Hawks continued to knock down shots and bring the lead back up to 12, holding the Bears to only six points over the next eight minutes. Coast Guard went scoreless over the final four minutes of the game as the Hawks rolled to the win.
