BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams University Baseball Team earned two wins against Wentworth Institute of Technology this Saturday afternoon with a score of 11-0 in the first game and 9-0 in the second.

In the first game, Connor Hewlette (Deer Park, New York) shut out all three batters in the top of the first inning. A single to left field from Danny Roth (West Hartford, Conn.) scored two, Eli Camner (Hamden, Conn.) and Chris Bosco (North Andover, Mass.) to bring RWU's lead to 2-0.

The Hawks increased their lead by five runs in the second inning. Joey Gulino (Meriden, Conn.) advanced to second on a balk and Brandon Jenkins (East Bridgewater, Mass.) scored. This was followed with a single up the middle from Bosco to bring Gulino home. To put their lead at five, Anthony Dominguez (Chester, N.J.) walked in an RBI to bring Bosco home. A single through the left side by Tommy Hobin (Madison, Conn.) brought in two more runs to bring the score to 7-0.
