BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Field Hockey team improved to 2-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference with a 2-0 win over Gordon College Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
The early part of the first quarter saw neither side able to put a goal on the board. Then with just under four minutes left in the period,
Brooklyn Cenatiempo was able to knock in her fifth goal of the season for a 2-0 RWU lead.
A scoreless second quarter saw Roger Williams go into halftime with the 1-0 lead. RWU would double their advantage shortly into the third quarter.
Hannah Palmer was able to find Cenatiempo at the 12:16 mark to bring RWU's lead to 2-0.
Roger Williams played stout defense throughout the day, allowing only eight shots on goal throughout the day while notching their third shutout of the season.
