HENNIKER, N.H.—The Roger Williams Women's Soccer team won their first game against Norwich 5-1 in the New England College Tournament.
Hawk Highlights
- Four different Hawks scored in today's game versus the Cadets including Arianna Delli Caprini (Bedford Hills, N.Y.), Kelly Yadoff (Wyckoff, N.J.), Sinead Hanely (Quincy, Mass.), and Ericca Broderick (Great Barrington, Mass.) who scored two.
- RWU outshot Norwich 29 to 10 while both goalkeepers Morgan McCutcheon (Danbury, Conn.) and Morgan Strassburg (Longmeadow, Mass.) each totaled two saves today.
For the Opponents
- Karyssa Lachance (Gorham, N.H.) scored the lone goal for the Cadets in the first half.
- Norwich saved seven while the Hawks saved a collective four.
How It Happened
Early in the game, the Cadets were leading 1-0 but it did not last very long as the Hawks came back strong and scored five goals to defeat their opponents 5-1. Broderick scored two goals which included an assist from Gabbi Razumek (Woodstock, Vt.) to help the team reach their first win of the season.

The Hawks (1-3) play at home on September 10
th against MIT at 4:00 p.m. and Norwich (0-4) turns to St. Joseph's Connecticut on the 14
th at 12:00 p.m.
