DUDLEY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team was defeated by Nichols College Thursday evening in a Commonwealth Coast Conference contest.

How It Happened
A strong first half for Nichols pushed the Bison to a lead that Roger Williams was unable to overcome. The Bison shot 59.4 percent from the field including going 8-for-15 from downtown in the first half. The Hawks shot 42.4 percent from the field but were only able to connect on three of their 17 three-pointers in the period.
 
Halfway through the opening half, Nichols was able to use a 14-4 run to turn a 20-17 lead into a 34-21 advantage. Nichols would go into halftime up 46-33. In the second half, the Bison maintained its double-digit lead throughout the period, leading by as many as 22 en route to the win.
