How It Happened
The Hawks erased an eight-point deficit over the final six minutes to come away with the win. The clutch shot came from Eli Harris as he was fouled on a step-back three-pointer with 26.9 seconds remaining to tie the game at 74. His free throw would put RWU up by one.

On the ensuing Salve possession Rich Pugliese was able to force a turnover to regain possession for the Hawks. After two more Harris freebies, Salve had one last chance to tie the game, but a three-pointer by Kevin Kelly banked off the backboard and off the front of the rim. Bryan Donovan (Gainesville, Fla.) secured the board and sank his two free throws to clinch the win for the Hawks.

Both teams withstood strong play from the other side throughout the game. RWU connected on its first four treys of the game and built a seven-point first half lead, while RWU trailed throughout the second half until Harris' four-point play. In the end, the Hawks withstood the Seahawk rally.
